About QuiltFest Classes and Lectures

Class and Lecture Location and Fee: Classes and lectures are held in several locations. o RIT Inn and Conference Center , 5257 W Henrietta Rd, Henrietta, NY 14467, Phone: (585) 359-1800 If booking a room, mention Genesee Valley Quilt Fest. The RIT Inn and Conference Center is about a 10 minutes drive from the show location with a shuttle available. Other hotels are also available in the area. o Gordon Field House, second floor above the quilt show. Use the stairs or elevator. Class and lecture rooms will be identified. o Show Floor. Kathie Beltz lectures will include a tour of the show floor. Meet Kathie at the entrance to the show for her lectures. Class Fee - all class registrations include the weekend show pass (value $20): o ½ - day workshop: $75 ($65 GVQC member) o 1-day class: $120 ($110 GVQC member) o 2-day class: $240 ($220 GVQC member) o Eligible GVQC members may apply to use a scholarship for QuiltFest classes. See information on the club website. Lecture Fee: $10 Class and Lecture Registration: Pre-registration required for all classes. Some classes require the purchase of a kit that must be purchased online from the teacher no later than a specific date. Check the supply list carefully. Pre-registration for lectures is requested, walk-ins are welcome if space is available with payment at the door. Registration for classes and lectures opens November 1, 2021 to the general public. Workshops space is limited to 20 students. Register early to avoid disappointment. Please read the Workshop Withdrawal and Cancellation Policy. Last day for online class and lecture registration is May 5, 2022. A SL is provided for lectures and is available on request for workshops. Please indicate your request for an ASL interpreter on the class registration form.
