Beverly Kondolf, 2022 QuiltFest Lecturer

Beverly Kondolf is a fiber artist, whose creative interests in fabric and sewing began in childhood. After learning quilting in 1990s, Beverly’s interest in making traditional quilts diverged to focus on her original designs. Her use of dyed and manipulated fabric and abstract improvisational style distinguishes her work. Beverly’s use of the quilted stitch punctuates and adds an important layer to her message. Kondolf continues to develop her art through studying design and technique, as well as fabric manipulation and painting. About Beverly: Awarded in juried exhibitions, including Quilts=Art=Quilts, Art Quilt Elements, Quilts Unlimited and Fantastic Fibers Exhibited in group shows of Art Quilt People and Finger Lakes Fiber Artists Organized and hung art and quilt exhibitions Helped catalog several museum collections
