In   an   effort   to   make   Genesee   Valley   QuiltFest   the   best   quilt show     experience,     2017     attendees     had     the     opportunity     to complete   an   exit   survey.      The   show   committee   appreciates   all   of the    comments    and    is    already    working    hard    on    the    “needs improving”   suggestions.      Not   all   suggestions   are   possible,   but will   change   or   improve   what   is   possible.      Thank   you   to   all   who took the time to complete the survey.

The Best Part of the Show

Over 50% mentioned the number, quality, and variety of quilts in the show.  Many said the vendors and shopping Others commented “all of it” For others the best part was the military memorial quilts, the exhibit of award winning quilts, the friendly people, friendly club members, lectures and workshops, and the special events. Layout - many loved the new layout, it was easy to see the quilts, exhibitors were nicely spaced out, large viewing areas and aisles Size of the show “WOW!”

“Wonderful show, so much work.” “Seems very well organized and run to me.” “Great show.  Balance of traditional with art.” “Great balance of quilts and vendors.” “Better quilts than _______ (major show), which was a lot of ‘art’ quilts.  All of these quilts were nice.” “Loved the Shop Hop.  Food nice price and lines moved.” “Nice variety of vendors.  Good exhibits . . . Enjoyed sewing a block for the military (Quilts of Valor).
